ABOUT ME

I'm a... pretty laid back kinda guy. I don't really get agitated/influenced by stuff, but that doesn't mean I'm a wall. I like to take the time to enjoy things, but at the same time I do know how to have a wild night out ;) I'm not usually the life of the party, although things may change after a few drinks ;)

I really, REALLY enjoy sports and all sorts of outdoor activities. I'm up for most things, minus the absolutely insane kinds of things, eg. jumping of bridges and out of airplanes ;) I'd love to meet all sorts of new and interesting (and wacky :P ) and experience has shown me how much fun this can be :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life should not be rushed. Every moment should be savoured and lived to the fullest. The most important period of time is the present. Nothing would make me more regret than looking back at my past and thinking "Oh, I should have done this, this and this".

Also, too much planning and looking to the future takes your mind of the present. Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to just live free and be completely spontaneous and go crazy! :P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience started back in 2009 while I was traveling through Germany, and that has really made me appreciate the network and the amazing people who believe and support this idea. I've hosted a number of people whilst I was in the UK, and stayed with more while traveling through the Middle East.

Now that I'm back home in Malaysia, I really want to show people what Malaysia is truly like and allow them an opportunity to experience this country from the perspective of a local.

My single biggest passion is travelling and my dream would be to do an around the world trip. I would love to be able to get an insider's view of every place that I visit, seeing how the local's go about their lives and what they eat etc.

I love comedies, whether they are really intelligent, witty ones or stupid, 'American Pie-esque' humour ;) I do enjoy the occasional serious movies, particularly ones with really smart story-lines or plots, eg. Ocean's Eleven or The Inside Man
