We are Tomas and Lore and we are traveling the world. We are an enthusiastic and friendly couple from Belgium. We like to travel locally and meet people and cultures to discover new ways of living and thinking every day! We are openminded and social and we would like to help out wherever anyone can use a hand. Our goal is to travel the world by land and water. We are looking forward to meet you soon!

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

We believe that travelling is more than hopping from one touristic highlight to another. We would like to meet interesting people and share thoughts and experiences with them. We also believe that travelling should not be expensive. You can find much more happiness on a couch given by generous people than in an impersonal hotel.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

We like to be occupied with 'culture' in our daily lifes. Tomas has a masters degree in Audiovisual Arts, he worked for belgian television and he reads a lot of books, especially classics (Herman Hesse, Tolstoj, Jack Kerouac, Jack London...)
Lore has a masters degree in Literature and Cultural Studies. She loves singing, reading and writing poetry and, since she is senesthete, she is quiet sensible for music.
By travelling, we hope to have more time to explore.

Lore has been teaching languages for three years and has great people-skills. She loves to sing and dance and is always eager to cheer you up. She's looking forward to discover new languages and cultures.
Tomas worked for television and always enjoyed working in his own vegetable garden. Last year he did his own Walden-experiment, based on the American writer H.D. Thoreau, and lived, practically self-sufficient in the woods for 10 months. He has learned a lot and is ready to learn a lot more.
Both of us like to read, write and exchange thoughts on life with free-thinking people.
