I think that the best way to really know a place is not only through visit monuments and museums but also, and the most important part, is to be able to mingle with local people, get access to their culture: music, food, way to see the world!!!

Drop by to the place of an "stranger" and be received as If you were a beloved friend and spend unforgettable times with her/his... That is how I can describe my experience in couchsurfing, so far.

Scuba diving near Puerto Vallarta beach in Mexico. Be witness of how a family enjoy be together in a beautiful beach in Stockholm, just enjoying each other. See an astonishing view of Popolo square in Rome and witness a marriage proposal in Venice at the shore of the Gran Canal near Redentor church....every day I intend to be amazed by sthg, it could be sthg amazing like try parachute or simple as see how a kid is learning to walk :)
