Overview
About Me
I'm an artist living and studying in New Haven. I am also a curator, an amateur chef, a person who loves to draw, a reader and a traveler. I love to read and have a soft spot for a well organized bookshelf.
Also: they/them/theirs. How about you?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to support my queer, artist and academic communities by being available to host folks! I am not always able to accept requests because I am currently a student and my studies keep me very busy, but I am friendly and wanting to host friends from all over the world.
Interests
Studying painting. Making paintings and sculptures and drawings and prints and sewn things etc etc etc. Considering going to get another MFA in curating. Writing poetry. Planning delicious studio snacks. Experimenting. Printing the ocean. Traveling. Curating. Having long conversations with friends. Appreciating coffee. Laughing at myself. Reading too many things at once. Staying up too late. Creating experimental books.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a bad habit of picking up many books at the same time... So currently I'm reading: Abstract Bodies by David Getsy, No Future by Lee Edelman, On Beauty by Elaine Scarry and a book of poetry called Troubling the Line.
I really loved - The Dance of Reality, And recently saw Carol, I loved it. Have you seen it?
Erykah Badu's new album is killer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a residency in Japan at the beginning of 2015. It was one of the most challenging and productive things I've ever done - during this time I spent Christmas in Tokyo which was truly beautiful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good laugh, a drink of whisky and some good stories about my travels. I'd love to hear about yours as well!
