Hi there! This is Lorena :-)

I'm originally from Spain and lived in Ireland 16 years.
I reached a point where I decided to leave the comfort of my job and settled life and adventure to discover the amazing things the world has to offer.

In January 2019, together with my backpack, I travelled around Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. The idea was to continue for as long as I could.
Then covid came and I came back to Europe.
I went to Malta and did Workaway over there for nearly two years.
I'm currently in Croatia hoping to see beautiful places and meet amazing souls.

I´m a down to hearth person who loves meeting new people and making friends from all over the world.

I am as good a listener as I am a talker :-)
I have had a very anecdotal life (in a good way!) and have loads of stories (I prefer to call them experiences) to share; funny, sad, scary, breathtaking, all sorts!
I've always found a bit awkward to tell "about me" so I will share what people tell me about me!
They say I could be a stand up comedian. I still don't know why they think so, but hey, we all have our opinions, right? All to be respected!
They say I am great company to have though I might talk too much some times (no idea what they are talking about! LOL)
They say I am a very bad singer (hem!)

I´m looking forward to starting my long term life-changing-trip and I think the best way to get to know the local cultures is by living with locals. I hope to meet you soon!

I heard about Couchsurfing and thought, COOOOL!!!! I created a profile, had a look at some hosts profiles in areas I plan to visit, saw their reviews and thought, SUPERCOOOL!!!

And so I started using it as a way of travel and OMG do I love it!

Musica, film e libri

My favorite movie ever is "Labyrinth". A 1986 classic. I have seen it a gazillion times and always happy to watch it again.
When it comes to music I can listen to pretty much anything, except of dance/trance/electronic and those sort of noises (please no one feel offended by this)

I have done loads of amazing things! Will share some of them with you over a coffee or a glass of wine or a meal or at the beach!

I enjoy doing Zumba, Yoga and Pilates.
I love listening and sharing life experiences.
