About Me
My name is Lorena, I'm 25 years old. I am an Au Pair in Downers Grove - Illinois, suburbs of Chicago.
I decided to do this exchange program so I could improve my english, travel and know more people.
I am easy going, organized and honest.
I love to try different things. In this exchange program I am doing a lot of things for the first time like going to sports events: american football, basketball, hockey and baseball. I tried to ice skating, skiing, water skiing. I am traveling more than I did in Brazil and when I when I come back I want to keep traveling.

I love almost all the types of music and I think music is really important.
For movies I like comedy, romantic comedy, action and family movies.
I love to read and many categories. Every week I try to read a new book. My favorite is The Wheel of Life from Elizabeth Kubler Ross.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think living abroad can be considered incredible. It is a new country, nem culture, new weather, new food. So many different things and living far away from family and friends is not easy. It is an amazing experience and I want to enjoy every minute.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I can always learn something new and I love that.
I love know more about things and knowing different people is a great way to do that. A really good way of make friends is sharing moments and ideas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can tell about my country, our culture, my family and friends, my experiences and the places I have been and the people I have met. I would love to do that.
