About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring Iceland
ABOUT ME
I grew up in the woods of the Deep South with a bunch of chickens and brothers and library books. I still think I was born to be a fiddler in an old time string band. Maybe when I grow up. My sister, Nellie, and I spend our time day dreaming about Iceland and looking at pictures of fjords. We are planning a trip to Iceland this summer!
PHILOSOPHY
The cheaper the mini frozen pizza, the better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted and surfed and love it all! I think couch surfing is an amazing, symbiotic community that allows people to share and learn across languages, cultures, and state borders.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was so happy to host a surfer in my home in South Korea and then travel with her on Jeju Island and couchsurf at another host's site together! It was so much fun to go from being a host to surfer in two weeks and also make a good friend.
Interests
Nellie: Busking with my guitar, graphic design, feminism and Fitzgerald short stories.
Lorena: Exceptionally small dogs with picky diets, navigating aquatic bus schedules, listening to people all over the world opine on politics, futuristic cities, and spicy food.
