About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy every moment as it comes and to learn as much as I can during this adventure we call life!
ABOUT ME
I'm a gypsy at heart in that I love to travel but I also enjoy being grounded and relaxing at home. I love meeting new people and I think this site is great in that staying with local people is always the best way to explore new places.
More about me: I try to live my politics in that I think that helping others/the planet is important and meaningful work. My job is important to me but it is not my life altogether. I balance myself through my meditation and hopefully soon, with exploring more of my new city and the mountains.
Want to know more just ask.
PHILOSOPHY
live and let live
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed, hosted, and attended local events in different cities. I whole heartedly believe in the mission of CS to connect people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a few different surfing experiences and they've all been wonderful. I've appreciated the openness of all of my hosts in sharing their space, their time, and their friendship even if just for 1 day/night.
I've also hosted some folks and have made some life long friends this way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm feeling old lately with my lack of new music awareness... sigh... Please come and visit me and introduce me to new cool music! I've been listening to way too much NPR and Buddhist audiobooks. haha...
Love movies! And TV series are an addiction I try to curb as much as possible. I don't own a TV so just whatever I can find online.
Books: i should read more... magazines and the sunday ny times are my go to's but i'm currently reading my way through some classics i'd like to catch up on too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completed the Camino de Santiago in Spain! Walked about 500 miles in 39 days across Northern Spain. It was an epic odyssey!
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak fluent Spanish and English and am willing to practice with others if they'd like to speak in Spanish or English or both. I speak some Portuguese and understand a lot especially Brazilian Portuguese. I'd love to practice this beautiful language with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A soft place to sleep, good conversation, and maybe some wine and food.
