I'm a young student of Education (highschool teacher) living in Tübingen. I like to laugh often, make silly jokes and I'd call myself an attentive listener too. But if someone has something valid to say about the world/people/politics/whatsoever I'm eager to discuss about it in a more serious way as well.
Traveling to me is like a "life-school". The people on my way are my teachers. They teach me perspectives. You'd rather see me staying in a small town half an hour away from the tourist hub, sitting in a café and chatting with the waiter, watching everyday life happening than actually doing sightseeing. What doesn't mean I haven't seen and done touristy stuff. ;)
But hitchhiking is always better than the bus and the bus better than a cab.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to get the local perspective. If I find someone to show me his way of life I've learned something about the people in the place I'm visiting. Staying with them gets me closer to their everyday life, but already meeting up is always cool. =)
I don't care if you're locally born and raised or moved there just a year ago - you're a part of the place and culture I'm visiting, that makes you a person I want to meet. And usually couchsurfers are kind of awesome people. At least I have been very fortunate so far.

兴趣

I'm rather an outdoor type of person, but the cities are usually more vibrant.
I play the piano half an hour a day average.
And I am an animal lover, especially wildlife. :)
Everywhere I go, I try to improve my language skills and variety, if you have a couple of slang words for me that will probably get me excited. :D
And I think my passion makes me a knowledgeable teacher as well.
Aaand I'm a minimalist, so I never have more than 30 litres of luggage + snacks&drinks :)

-I sort of replaced books with the newspaper a couple of years ago ... -> boring

In the end swimming with a humpback whale in Tonga was literally breathtaking :)
And just lately, spending an hour in the middle of a group of warthogs, gaining their trust and ending up having them a meter next to me!
