About Me

Ciao a tutti!
I'm Lorenzo, 24, From Pistoia, Tuscany.
I am passionate about traveling, nature and art. When I was 21 I moved to New Zealand for a year in order to master my English skills, then I went to study Cinema in Prague where I graduated in documentary. After this two huge experiences I decided to go back to my hometown where I spent the past 2 years. I worked for a cooperative as a social worker, taking care of refugees from Africa and Asia. I have done a bunch of others jobs, I have worked in a nursery plant for 2 years and in a restaurant as a kitchen hand. I'm currently mastering the craft of storytelling, I make videos, documentary and short fiction. I've visited many countries in the past few years such as Morocco, Guatemala, Honduras, and all South Asia.

I'm currently exploring the amazing country of India! I'm traveling with Francesca, my partner, and we are going to be in Australia from the 19th of December, where we'll be staying for at least one year!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never tried couchsurfing before, even tho I have met a lot of people whose have done it. I'm used to live with other people, I have always traveled by hostels and I spent sometime in a beautiful community in Italy that have taught me how to live in common with other people. So I'm very looking forward to have this new experience and to learn the place that I visit directly from the locals, which is the very reason why I wanted to try couchsurfing.
