ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm a creative Italian, but not happy of being born in Italy. Ok, Italy is a nice country and we have nice weather, coasts, seas, nice cities, FOOOOOD (a lot, and i miss it), ancient culture etc etc, but these are things that you mostly enjoy when you are on vacation and I'll keep them in mind when I have to book a flight and go back home for a while. Nowadays Italy is not the place to live and build a future, even if you are skilled and talented, forget it. It's not a pessimistic attitude, it's just reality. I always loved northern Europe countries since I was a little kid, i don't know why. Even if the weather honestly sucks, i love those cute cities and the people. I love to hear and read unknown strange languages and be happy because i don't understand a single word. I know it's weird, but i love it. :) I lived one year in Belgium (Antwerpen) and since i left i feel homesick. After 12 years in Milano (yes, i know, crazy) I suddenly decided to leave Italy and start over in another country in the middle of the 2008-2009-economic crisis (yes, i know, crazy), and I chose Stockholm.Honestly I had many choices in front of me: now there are 4 other Lorenzo in parallel universes having a different life in Denmark, Holland and Belgium, or somewhere else. I started over from scratch in a new city without a job and without connections because I wanted to start over in a country where things work and where I could see the horizon, a future, maybe start a family :) So, I'm in Stockholm since september 2009, mission accomplished :) Finally I escaped from Italy and I found an awesome job, I have my own place and I enjoy life with old and new friends.I can host sometimes, especially those who read my full profile and don't send copy-paste email ahah, and of course those who match with my personality and interests.I can host only in the weekend, that's the main rule. Then read the rest in the couch-information part. s quiet after the storm, it can be quiet but still be a storm.
2)i say what i think, i do what i say.
3)quality over quantity.
4) het verleden heeft geen toekomst meer (taken from a dutch song, it means: the past has no more future).

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: bladerunner, frankestain jr, spaceballs, lola rennt. iedereen beroemd, goonies, ethernal sunshine of the spotless mind, and many many more! i DO LOVE those 60s and 70s italian movies, so i can see how simple and beautiful was my country. Italian movies from the 50s in black and white are also super! Old school with those stars of the italian movie history: Totò, Mastroianni, Fabrizi, Gassman and many more.
Electonic music: ladytron, portishead, archive, lali puna, dido, suzanne vega, royksopp, the knife, kruder&dorfmeister, thievery corporation, moloko and roisin murphy, eather nova, blonde redhead, four tet, mum.. etc
Then i love: Rock, Reggae, Trip-hop, some of those pop songs, heavymetal a bit... it really depends by the artist and the song. It can be an epic-metal song and i listen it a lot, and i can love it more than an electronic style song.
I absolutely dont like: latin-american music, arabian sounds, soul music bleaah lol :) sorry eh!
