About Me

We live in an apartment in Malters, 10 minutes away by train from Lucerne, the capital of the Swiss canton Lucerne. Lorenzo is an electronic engineer and works in a company of electronic development. Romina works as a quality specialist in a food company.
In our free time we like to meet up with friends, go outside discover what's around us (shorts trips, museum visits, street manifestations...) or simply stay home and play games or watch movies, comedies or interesting documentary. We especially like wine and cheese tasting.
During the weekends we often go back to the Italian speaking part of Switzerland (Ticino), where our parents live and where I still have several occupations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would like to host people from all over the world whenever possible.

We spent 4 months in the U.S.A from October 2010 to January 2011. In January 2011 we did a coast to coast (from San Diego to New York) stopping in different cities. We couch surfed all along the way and we met very friendly people. We really had a great experience, so we continued in Switzerland by hosting people.
In summer 2013 we made an U.S national park tour and we also couch surfed in different cities. Meeting up all those people really was a great complement to all the beauty we saw in the different parks.

Traveling, meet new people and make new friends. We love nature, animals, wine and cheese.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our trip trough the USA by bus was our greatest experience so far. We started in San Diego and we arrived in New York after 1 month. :)
