Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movie has to be The Last Waltz by Martin Scorsese, also like the old Sergio Leone stuff, Kurosawa, Kubrick, Lynch, A Scanner Darkly has a special place in my heart too... Really love music documentaries about obscure unknown geniuses.
Favorite book is Bilbo the Hobbit, and Tolkien in general is great. I like late 19th and early 20th century french authors, like André Gide or Beaudelaire, and philosophy in general.
Music is my life, from classic rock bands like AC/DC or The Band or Brian Jonestown Massacre, to Country folk and blues like Doc Watson or John Fahey, to Hip Hop like Masta Ace and Aftermath stuff...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Woke up in my boiling hot tent, opened it, and was reminded by the glitter of beautiful mediterranean water and landscape that I had settled on a beach in Cinque Terre near Genova. All I had to do was get up and walk to the best and most natural morning bath of my life. magic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach fingerstyle guitar (acoustic), French, Italian and English, Mediterranean cooking.
I am willing to learn anything about music, or art more generally. Any form of cooking is fascinating for me. Languages too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my music and poetry, my ideas and doubts.
