Overview
About Me
I recently got my degree in International Studies and Languages, and decided to take a year off to travel across Canada and United States. My boyfriend, Jonathan, and I just bought a van in which we plan to live for the next months, while exploring North America.
I already travelled a lot, mostly in Europe and South America. I backpacked through a dozen coutries in Europe and spent a semester in Brazil (which is why I speak portuguese quite fluently). I've seen tons of beautiful things around the world and I plan on seeing a lot more!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet with people that also are travellers (I already got friends on every continent!) and I also think that the best way to get to know a new place is to see it through the eyes of a local. Also, as fun as living in a van sounds, we might wanna take a hot shower and sleep in a house every once in a while ;) We hope we can count on couchsurfers to help us with that!
In a year or so, I'll also be able to host people myself and show them my favorite place in the world, Québec City, in which I grew up.
Interests
Of course, I love travelling, but I also like sharing experiences with other travellers. I love learning new languages and I hope I get to practice the ones that I've already been learning. I love hiking, even though I'm no expert.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter, but I also love reading in general. As for music, I listen to many styles, but I especially like Queen and Muse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was in Brazil, I got to do a Survival Tour in the jungle and it was quite amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope people can share what they like about their hometown with me. If I could get to practice the languages I'm learning, I would also be very happy!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share about what I've learned while travelling, and about all the amazing things I got to see and do in the last few years. I would also be happy to help people who are currently learning French or Portuguese, since I know that the only way to learn a language is to speak it the most often you can.
