ABOUT ME

Lori fondly remembers her international housemates (and the many friends from their countries who visited) during her years in a shared house in Cambridge, MA, as well as hosteling in Europe and Australia, and 'couchsurfing' with friends of friends before it became an official phenomenon. Will hasn't surfed as many couches, but plans to travel more. Will started a film discussion group in the year 2000, which is how we met. We married in 2008. We like gatherings of people with a common interest who otherwise wouldn't meet one another.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We enjoy hosting visitors (during times when we don't have too many commitments) and are happy to share our enthusiasm for our great city. Having attended local CS community gatherings in Chicago and in Denver, we are eager for more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lori has surfed plenty of couches and made my homes available for surfing through friends of friends. We joined CS after hearing about it from many people, and although we haven't hosted a great deal, we have enjoyed the community and local events tremendously.

Interests

Among other things, we like wine, coffee, good food, movies, alternative theater, city walking, word and board games.
