About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have soul forfilling year and meet people who are on the same journey
ABOUT ME
Im your typical retired hippy or nearly anycase, but prefer to buy my yogurt and sprouts now. I was born in New Zealand but my genetic makeup is largely West Indian. I do not smoke or take drugs. I like to live in a very organised and clean space. I have lived in deserts in Australia for several years. I am not your typical mature lady and I prefer to take the "roadless travelled" view in life. Im broadminded, open and have worked in many fields but Administration is my background.Im calling this my soul year so plenty of soulfood this year will happen in my life. My home has an open door policy and welcomes people who respect my personal space.
PHILOSOPHY
What goes around comes around, life is one big journey with some stopovers. You reap what you sow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted 85 (May 2009)people so far and I have enjoyed every single one of them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have for the last three years mainly hosted surfers. I have no plans of travelling at this stage but want to in the near future. I enjoy meeting couchsurfers and other local hosts. I always organise social events if people are staying at least two days with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything non violent, poss. educational and adventurous. Sara Donati and Diana Gabaldon based novels that are 17th/18th century romantic adventures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I like sailing and seeing dolphins/whales swimming around your boat is just awesome. Hearing only the sounds of water and the boating cutting into the ocean is delightful. Seeing the sunsets over the desert is another wonderful site. Absolutely enjoying whalewatching theses day, I see them most days from my house during the months from May to November.
