Hello there:))
Both my children have recently gone off to school, leaving me free to travel! My son has lived in La Rochelle for the past 16 months and I have booked a one way ticket on Jan 24th, 2020 to La Rochelle. I love to travel and meet new people and am really looking forward to this stage of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although my son does live in La Rochelle, he has a roommate and his place is quite small so I don't think it would be comfortable with the 3 of us in such a small space.
As I do have an open ended ticket, I may want to stay in La Rochelle for a month then travel to another country. It's a big adventure and I will live each day to the fullest and see where life takes me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to old rock, such as Queen and Billy Squier. I also enjoy Maggie Rogers, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Valley. As well as 70's music.

My favourite movie is Eat, Pray Love. I enjoy the message of the movie and aspire to follow a similar path.

My favourite book is Mount the Count.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam across a 2 mile river to raise money for the local food bank. I was in my 20's and living in Barrie. Not only did I participate, but I organized this fundraiser. We raised $3000 for the cause, which in the 80's was a lot of money!!
