About Me

'Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world.'

I grew up in a small town on the northern west tip of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Most of my life has been spent loving the wild, fishing, hiking, camping. But getting out and seeing new corners of the world has been my new adventure and it was nothing short of spectacular!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I have recently travelled alone, I now understand just how couch surfing can save your butt! Of course, couch surfing is a chance to meet awesome like minded people, and make connections all around the world! How could I not want to be a part of this incredible international community!! t warn you ;D

Interests

Living Minimistically, I live in a 1974 camperized school bus in the woods. Which means my lifestyle always brings countless new learning experiences. I am so interested in a number of things it would be impossible to list it all, so needless to say, I have many interests, from Music, Art, and Gardening, to Mechanics, Paddle boarding, and Quantum Physics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is doing fun things with air. If it vibes good with me in the moment, I enjoy it. I do also have a finer tuned taste for music, I am into alot of 40's jazz, big band, progressive metal, Classical, Rock, Funk, etc.
I read alot of writings from Osho and Deepak Chopra. Alot of my bookshelf consists of Healing herbs, Personal growth, Spiritual growth, and Dr.Suess.
As for movies, I am one who likes to randomly but appropriately quotes movies from Zoolander, to The Little Mermaid, to Silence of the Lambs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the Inca trail from km84 to Machu Piccu in 3 days! (vs the 4 day schedule)
Was the most challenging physical adventures of my life and equally most rewarding!

Teach, Learn, Share

Knowledge is only worth it's weight if it is shared. I feel I have alot of life experience for someone as young as Me. I absolutely love hearing what others have to say, share about their experiences. What ever you feel like talking about, I am an excellent listener, and sometimes I find that's all we need once in a while.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being a previous home owner from my Alberta days I respect the efforts it takes having guests. So I always take consideration when making any mess. I am very efficient at cleaning up after myself (from washing the dishes, to washing and folding laundry) I'll even vacuum if you need it done! I am also very passionate about cooking, if you point me in the direction of the grocery store I would love to make a meal for the whole lot!
