A few years ago I studied psychology, after which I worked in social and psychiatrical care for a few years. Because of my interest in the environment, I decided to study environmental science. Since I finished that, I'm one or the rare environmental scientist-psychologists in this world =).
Besides that I like being active, as in "doing sports" and as in "doing cultural stuff".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was active on couchsurfing for a short period of time, about 6 years ago. I had a few real good experiences couchsurfing, but after that I spent more time camping when travelling. I had my account reactivated for a trip to Paris and enjoyed the couchsurfing very much. That was probably the start to do this more often.

Before I lived in Leuven and didn't have space to host people. Now I live in Antwerp, cohousing with my three roomies, so oppurtunities are better to host some very kind travellers!

My range of interests is very wide, but I am concerned about the environment and sustainability. Besides that I love travelling, cultural activities, cycling, good vegetarian food, red wine, ...
