ABOUT ME

I used to be on the road often, with an on/off travel schedule. Now I'm recuperating in a home office and traveling the world through the interwebs.

You might think I work all the time! But Harvey MacKay quipped: Do what you love and you will never have to work a day in your life. I make connections, build relationships, and do business via social media.

I love collaborative tools, making connections, and interacting with professionals both online and in the real world.

My work is a perfect fit for my interests and skills: training development and articulating best practices as a recognized thought leader in my industry. I'm asked to speak, teach, and provide immersion programs for all types of companies & organizations non-profit, for-profit, governmental, educational, and everything in between.

I often speak and evangelize brands and businesses I believe in and am always looking for fun! I also want to meet as many local people as I can when I travel, get the local scoop, and find new friends that rock!

I am now based in Lynchburg, VA and rarely on the road. So, if you're heading to The Burg, please check in with me. You're a window to the world out there!

I've had the chance to surf with others and have always had an enjoyable experience. Life is too short to worry. With couch surfing, I always feel like I find new people just like me. How cool is that?

Movies? Forrest Gump, Almost Famous, Jerry McGuire, of course, The Social network and lots more!

TV... really enjoying the Victoria series on Starz. I love watching The Voice; my friend got me hooked on AGT. But I turned off the cable and am just watching Internet-only programming now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove into Mexico without realizing that by going past the border town, not knowing the language would frustrate my efforts to read the road signs! I've also been around Canada including Vancouver and Halifax as well and Petra and the Dead Sea in Jordan, Israel, Hawaii, and so many cool places across North America!
