ABOUT ME

I taught English in China for a year after high school and fell in love with the country and the travelling lifestyle. Now I'm back to study and to do and see much more. I like to learn things and do try to study hard, but I have such a short attention span. I hate staying in the house all day. I love trying new things. i like home-cooked food. I like a chilled night in and a wild night out. I have to keep busy, I can sleep when I'm dead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Taiping, Penang, Jakarta and Yogyakarta.
Regularly attend meetings and activities in Guangzhou.
Host on occasion, but I'm quite busy these days! No harm in asking though.

I love the idea. Great way to meet new faces and it restores your faith in good people. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Have read a lot of stuff about Chinese and Asian history and culture lately. Want to read more!

Movies: Harry Potter :), Inception, The Hangover, Up, Lost in Translation. Little miss sunshine. The Prestige. Forrest Gump. Saving Private Ryan. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Anything with Seth Rogan or Jonah Hill.

Music: Indie and alternative. A bit of Sigur Ros and Bon Iver. Still like dancing to the chart stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know about "amazing". I'm pretty chuffed with what I've done so far in my 20 years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I can teach people. I can teach Scottish country dancing to anyone who wants to go to a Ceilidh dance. I can bake. I can swear in many languages. Can teach you a bit of beginners Chinese.
