Hey!
I'm Lorna, regular London worker normally but with a huge passion for travel. I work so that I can travel and devote as much time as I can to travelling, travel planning and meeting other travellers.
I got the bug in Malaysia in 2008 when I studied there. Since then I've covered most of Europe, parts of SE Asia and the East Coast of Australia. My ultimate goal is to visit every country in the world :)
I have a pretty hectic schedule but if I'm around when you're in town then we can definitely grab a drink so drop me a line.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to talk about travelling and the best way to find out new travel tips is to talk to other travellers. I used couchsurfing properly for the first time when I was in the Philippines in Summer 2015 and met some great people who definitely added to what was a great trip. I'm hoping to meet some great people in London while I'm at home as well as meeting some more great people around the world.

Interests

Exploring: getting lost in new towns or cities, tramping around woodlands, going trekking ...

Food: eating it, discovering new and unusual foods, cooking it and learning to cook new types of food :)

Beer: I've just started homebrewing! I'm an ale fan but I'll take whatever the local brew is when I'm travelling, beer is also a great companion for beaches, picnics, star gazing, meeting new people and eating great food.

Nature: I studied Plant Science at uni and now work in Biosecurity. I am passionate about the environment and all thinks plants. I love to explore new environments and get to know the nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attended a wedding in Karachi, Pakistan ... Not something I would ever have imagined myself being able to experience but what an amazing time!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Depending on how much free time I have we can grab a beer and share our travel experiences. Might even be able to fit in a trip to the local pub. If I'm free on a weekend then I'm happy to join you for some sightseeing or to visit some of the cities great markets or parks.
