ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I have a good sense of humour, and that I laugh at almost anything. I LOVE PUNS (unfortunately!). I am a compassionate person, and enjoy helping people out in whatever capacity I am able to. My friends would say that I am flexible and accommodating, and am open to new adventures and scenarios. I am able to find a good time in just about anything, especially when it is with people with whom I can engage in both light and deep conversations with.
I love music, and i especially love to sing. i LOVE getting to play music with good friends, especially when they're ridiculously talented.
I love children, and one day when I retire, driving a school bus sounds extremely delightful.....!!!

PHILOSOPHY

"YOLO" - you only live once.
Realizing that, I want to know that I live a life that is full of adventure, passion, love, and laughter. I also want to know that I am able to be a source of any of that for others.

Interests

I spend a lot of my time with people; in large groups, but especially in one-on-one conversations and hangouts. I find being in community to be something that is refreshing, and it warms my soul! I also volunteer in working with youth (i.e. high schoolers), and a lot of my free time is also devoted to deepening these relationships. I also spend a lot of time with music - whether it be playing an instrument, singing, or listening to it. I love theatre, and also enjoy reading. I also enjoy hitting the gym...which is a nice way to balance my overzealous appetite and love for food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading historical fiction novels, but also enjoy humourous books from time to time. I also enjoy reading books from Christian thinkers (i.e. N.T. Wright).
I enjoy various types of music, especially ones that I am able to belt along to. Currently, musical theatre genres have been on rotation quite a bit.
Switchfoot is my alltime favourite band though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing was a recent adventure I had parasailing over the Caribbean Sea in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Being in the air and just soaking in the beautiful view of the blue and green waters as exhilarating!! Who knew that there could be such incredible beauty in the world?
I also remember zip-lining in the forests of Costa Rica - again, the grandiosity of nature is breathtaking.
