ABOUT ME
Since i joined couchsurfing almost 10 years ago, i met so many inspiring people in that time, made some really friendships. People who crossed my way who somehow changed my life and brought me on a path where i am walking now... Everyone i met through this platform was kind of unique and special, like there is something special in all of us, we just have to find out.
Maybe you will surf my couch or me yours some day... If this will happen, you will find a peacefull and down to earth person who loves to be curious as possible, exploring our world, as long as we still are able to marvel at our great world. We just can be proud to live on this beautiful blue planet. Thats why i love nature so much and try to be respectful with everything and to life a very sustainable life.
My life is quite simple and since last year, i became really passionate about traveling with my bicycle. After days of just cycling it gives me such a great feeling, also beeing outside all day long. I Also organize and urban garden in my neighbourhood and am very active with foodsharing (saving food from be thrown away).
I try to be happy... enjoy my life as much as possible... :)))
PHILOSOPHY
Finding beauty in simple things of life...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting and surfing... I started to host people in 2013 before my first big travel to south america. So far, i surfed in different countries and i fell in love with couch surfing immediately... Great platform to bring locals and travellers together and everything is just about humanity, mostly. Unfortunetly i have to say, that CS also changed a lot and i see, that people consider CS more as a platform to have a free bed.
After my first hosting experience i just wanted to invite more and more peope to my home, to tell them something about my city, eat with them or just having people from abroad in my home to here some stories about their life in their home countries. Its like travelling, but instead of travelling by yourself, the diffent countries come to your home :)
Interests
Movies, culture, art, languages, nature, hiking, walking barefoot, hanging out with friends, cooking, tea, beeing outside, theatre, watching humans, sustainable life, DIY, psychology, cycling, gardening
Music, Movies, and Books
The last weeks i discovered a lot of new genres - african funk, psychodelic jazz, dub - besides my alltime love for indie, music from all decades - 20s - 50s- 60s- and so on... everything that hits my heart, and maybe let my feet move :)
When it comes to movies, I'm as passionate as for music. I like to watch movies from different countries, its a small substitute, when I'm dont have the time to travel... Movies are sometimes a window into another world...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That i jumped into the life, and am able to experience life...
Concert of sigur ros, its a little bit of life changing...
Beeing for five days in the rain forest, one of the best experiences in my life. The knowledge of seen nature and wildlife grew of the size of a small matchbox to a huge mega super fantastic box...
Beeing alone on the pacific coast of an chilean island, watching the big ocean for the first time of my life and i had it completly for myself. It was so impressive, really... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowledge from life... you never know what people learn from you. There are some moments, when you meet people and you learn a lot from them, but they dont wanted to teach you anything...
