About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life in a way that broadens my perspective of the world.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy traveling but wouldn't be considered a seasoned traveler. I love the outdoors but am not an 'outdoors man'. You might catch me sipping on a fine beer though I won't pretend to be a connoisseur. In the summer I'm happiest on a motorcycle (rain or shine) and in the winter I'm happiest with a snowboard strapped to my feet.
For my job, I work with people who have disabilities. It's a field I entered on my 21st birthday in 2007. If you do the math that means I'm coming up on 28 years old in March of 2014. Some highlights in these years- I've managed to travel to China and kayak in the South China Sea; I've sipped on a Guinness for breakfast in Dublin then explored the Ring of Kerry; I've driven from Santa Fe to Iowa City in one sitting and got stuck in a snowstorm. Traveling to states with mountains are my favorite because they seem to always bring a smile to my face.

Updating a CS profile is similar to that of updating a résumé: I don't do it nearly as often as I should and when I do I hope it facilitates new and exciting experiences.

PHILOSOPHY
There is no such thing as changing the world in a small way because you've undoubtedly changed someone's world in a great way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Introduced to Couch Surfing in 2009 when I attended Tent Surf in Colorado. Met my girlfriend at that very event. Have hosted only one or two friends and had the pleasure of surfing a few couches.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I began couch surfing in the summer of 09' when I took a road trip out to Colorado and camped with fellow surfers. Later in the summer I went to a couch surfing skydive event. I have hosted a couple people and have stayed with a couple people. Overall it's been positive experience and I look forward to the next time CS plays a part in my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
TBD
Teach, Learn, Share
"We could not possibly be conscious of these things and remember all of them because our mind would be so full of useless details we would be unable to think. From all this awareness we must select, and what we select and call consciousness is never the same as the awareness because the process of selection mutates it. We take a handful of sand from the endless landscape of awareness around us and call that handful of sand the world."
