About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Complete Engineering Degree + make new friends
ABOUT ME
You'll find me to be an animated passionate character with a lot to share, a witty mind and a love of nature.
I grew up in Melbourne, Australia, have travelled most of the continent except the north. I taught English in the Republic of Georgia for two years and travelled some of Europe whilst over there. Living abroad for so long taught me that no country is any better than another, each has its pros and cons.
I'm currently an Electronics and Sustainable Energies Engineering student in Brisbane, Australia.
I've spent over 10 years intensely looking into the spiritual and alternative. Having taken it as far as I can, I'm now focused on simply living a life I love.
PHILOSOPHY
Be yourself, for really you never have anything else.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By sharing my journey with those I meet. Most find me very interesting to have a discussion with as I'm a passionate person with interests in many areas.
Or just generally having a good time with friends I haven't met yet.
Unfortunatly I'm unable to host at this time due to my housemates concerns.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed in Venice, Croatia and Thailand.
Interests
I enjoy nature, experiencing new cultures, good food and conversation. I also love to dance... though I won't say I know how to... LOL
I'm also partial to good conversation about life the universe and everything... heck I started thinking about that stuff when I was only 6 years old.

Music, Movies, and Books
Comedy, thought provoking books and movies.
I like intelligent witty humour.
Movies: Trilogy of Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, Narnia, Matrix, Inception, Avatar, Inside Out.
TV: Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Avatar and Legend of Korra.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Skiing in the Caucus mountains (3300m).
2. One of 14 Australian students sponsored by a major Chinese company for a three week experience in Beijing and Shenzhen. We saw the sights, mostly ate good food and were shown around their headquaters which is basically it's own suburb in Shenzhen. Treated like VIP's... I could so get used to that, sipping wine on a cruise around Hong Kong harbour, sprawled across a loung with cool tunes playing. It was fabulous.
3. Attended a 10 day meditation retreat where no talking or eye contact was allowed.
Teach, Learn, Share
Fresh ideas and new perspectives. I'm a thinker and keen observer of life, as such I form my own well considered ideas and perspectives on topics. Most people who know me don't know anyone who thinks as broadly and as deeply as I do, or has taken as many drastically different paths as I have.
Being aware of what goes on in ones head and how that influences us.
Being an engineering student now, I'm also interested in meeting other engineers or those interested in the field. Particularly relating to the fields of electrical and sustainable energies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great discussion.
I've lived abroad teaching English, attempted to start a natural health practice, studied self development, spirituality and natural health extensivly. Done a 180 degree turn to now be in my 3rd year of engineering in renewable energy.
I'm an interesting mix, who brings a unique thought provoking perspectives to discussions.
