Overview
About Me
Hi everyone! I'm Lotta, I grew up in Australia but my family is German. I am eager to learn about the cultures, history and language of the places I visit, and am an engaged and helpful person. I am easy going and love meeting new people, and am always down for long winded discussions on topics ranging from political discord to if hot cross bun ice cream is crossing a line in the fanciful flavour trend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a young traveller looking to make new friends and connections in the places I'll be passing through.

Music, Movies, and Books
Man, difficult question. I love basically anything, especially something I can sing along to! My favourite movie is probably V for Vendetta, or any movie by Christopher Nolan. I'm not a big movie watcher though, I prefer conversation and books. Which brings me to my favourite book! Recently, a novel that I read that blew my mind was: 'The Word for Woman in Wilderness'. Read it. I really love the books by Jean M. Auel, but also non-ficion books like I was told to come alone by Souad Mekhennet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Um I've hitchhiked from Denmark (400kms south of Perth in Western Australia) to Brisbane (On the east coast of Australia) in just over four days. Thats 4250 kms.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to teach German and English as best I can, as I am fluent in both. I'd love to learn as much from as many languages as I can. I am also super interested in plant life, so anyone with knowledge of native flora is going to get peppered with questions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am helpful, so I'm happy to help out in the house as much as I can! Also, I'd love to share my adventures and hear from everyone elses adventures, so I would love to have some cool conversations.
I can also share my dubious cooking skills, but get the fire extinguisher ready. Maybe I can share some insights from growing up in two cultures simultaneously.
