Overview
About Me
I grew up in Finland, studied in Germany and now work in finance in Czech Republic. I live in central Prague with my boyfriend who’s French and our bunny Biscott and American Staffordshire Baddy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and getting to know other cultures. I enjoy having conversations with people of different opinions and backgrounds. I prefer couches and hostels to hotels when I travel, and now I have enough space to host as well.
Interests
I'm somewhat of a language nerd, and love learning new languages and discovering the similarities and connections in them, as well as how they play a role in our cultures and ways of thinking. Politics and social issues are close to my heart, and I love discussing them especially over some food. Music, dance and art has always been a part of my life, but I prefer small smoky pubs or live concerts over club nights (unless it's techno!).

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to very different kinds of music, from techno to 70's prog rock, dark indie to happy folk and electro swing. Even classical or death metal if my mood requires it. Some favourites of mine are Sóley, Manu Chao, Shpongle, George Brassens and The Beatles.
Movies: Léon the Professional, der Baader-Meinhof Komplex, The Big Short, Into the Wild, The Beatle's Yellow Submarine
I also have a tendency to binge-watch documentaries and series.
