ABOUT ME

Ehm.. Let's see.. where to start..
I've been living in the Netherlands all my life. I grew up in a small village near Eindhoven. I liked to live there as a kid, but now for me it's to much isolated from "the outside world". I decided to move to Eindhoven in 2013. I enjoy living in Eindhoven a lot! The thing I like most about Eindhoven is the many options to meet new people. I can be in the citycenter in 15 minutes by bike and have drinks with my friends or do other social activities.

In my daily life I'm a teacher on primairy schools. I'm a subtitute-teacher, wich means that I'm working on many, many schools. I got ideas about education, wich I really like to share and to talk about.

One of my hobby's is to go out and party! :D
I like going to bars, and have drinks with my friends.

Listening to music is also one of the things I really enjoy. I mostly listen to the radio, especially in my car while singing out loud! Unfortunately I'm a really bad singer, so I won't sing in public! ;-)

I also do a lot of sports. I've been going to gym for a long time. I started running 1,5 years ago and since september I'm taking salsaclasses wich I really enjoy! Besides the classes I'm practising in the local salsabar every week.
I did a wallclimbingcourse so I try to go climbing for at least one time a week, and recently I started doing icehockey, it's awesome! :)

As you can read, my life is quit busy! Just sitting on the couch and watching tv is not really something I do very often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made a profile in december 2013. I didn't know about couchsurfing before, but I really liked the idea of meeting new people and to have a nice opportunity to see a city in a different way.
I started hosting people once in a while. I really enjoyed it! It made me look at Eindhoven in a different way.
After hosting a few people I decided to surf myself in Brazil with a friend. We've been hosted in 5 different city's and I had the best time ever!
After Brazil I decided to go couchsurfing more in Europe. I've been surfing in Austria and Poland and I had a great time! Now I'm planning on surfing more in Europe.

Interests

I love to meet interesting people. During traveling I like to go with the flow and not plan to much. Spontanious actions are mostly the best!
