My mission is to get to know myself, to find out my potential and my connection with universe.

ABOUT ME

I am a generally happy, positive, lively person. In anything I do, I aim to create a difference and contribute to the wellbeing of the universe. I love traveling, therefore chose tourism as a career for myself. I love my job because making a difference in people's lives by helping them organize their travel experiences gives me a great satisfaction. I like simplicity, and I seek pleasure in everything I do. I like good food, good movies, good music, good people so I try to create a world for myself in which I enjoy the simplest things at their best.
Apart from being a tourism professional, I am also a university student. This is my second university which I started at 30 yrs old. It is so different than my first uni experience when I was 18. I appreciate every single thing I learn now, whereas before it was just a must.
I am also an amateur singer. I sing in a choire and also in a 6-girl vocal band. I enjoy singing jazz and broadway musicals.
I am in a great period of my life in which I am taking an amazing journey getting to know myself better.. I'm looking forward to meeting new people with CS and sharing our life philosophies.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are all here for a reason. I believe in God (not religious), good will and rule of attraction. I believe that we create our own lives. I am quite a relaxed person. I think twice before reacting. I try to think and talk positively. I try to contribute to people's lives and create good things for humanity and myself! :) I am a naturally happy person and I think we can all choose to be so!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Firstly and most importantly, I try to be a good host and a good surfer, trying to make sure I contribute to other people's perspectives and also learn and grow myself.
For a lot of people that I know, having a stranger in your home is a very scary idea. So I try to explain the philosophy to them hoping that knowing such a community exists will give them more understanding and tolerance for the world around them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted more than surfing and loved every experience I had. So far I hosted 3 surfers from France, 2 from USA, 1 from Norway, 3 from Switzerland.. is that it? it felt more. :)
Surfed twice in London and Chicago.
More to come.. :)

I love music. Any music that is good. I am an amateur singer. I like going out, meeting new people. I love good food, good wine. I like nature. I'd like to be outdoors as much as I can. I regularly do yoga. Go swimming once a week. Recently learned driving and loving it. I've been learning Japanese for 3 months. I would like to learn horse back riding soon.

I love reading Alain De Botton. He rocks! I am a movie lover. I follow movie festivals. I think the best movie of all times (so far) is Matrix (episode 1) :)
I used to be a heavy metal lover, but now I don't have a specific kind of favorite music (maybe jazz a bit more than others). I listen to everything good, quality and created by heart!

I sang (with a choire) in a stadium concert to 55.000 people!

I can teach you to speak some Turkish :) I can teach cooking some Turkish dishes and Turkish coffee. Maybe to sing a Turkish song.. I am open (and hungry) to learn anything about new cultures.
