About Me
CURRENT MISSION
On the road again.
ABOUT ME
I have surfed my way around the United States many times, recently surfed in Asia a bit, and thoroughly understand the etiquette of couchsurfing. I love to meet new people and participate in cultural exchange. I am 33 years old, recently married, a committed Buddhist, and have been traveling for a few years following the completion of grad school. I love the road but I'm also looking to find someplace more permanent to cool my heels. As a surfer, I'm friendly, clean, and respectful. I try to leave each place I stay better than I found it. I am especially interested to meet other people that are attempting to live simple, sustainable lifestyles on this planet and see how they structure their homes and lives to further this goal.
PHILOSOPHY
I cannot even begin to tackle this one yet. Although i think that Henry Miller pretty much encapsulated it when he wrote about looking for gainful employment but not feeling very enthusiastic about it. He said, "It was not work that I sought, but a life more abundant." I am just striving for that abundant life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
