Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A couch of course is one of the true articles of mans repertoire as it were... of which I am able to grant from time to time...

I am always interested in cultivating a free exchange of, ....well, we all have different things to offer, and so in becoming part of this community, I hope that I can widen my own experiences and those of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have as yet to be hosted by this community,however, in saying as much I have found myself in situations during my travels where I have met complete strangers who have been kind enough to help me, befriend me, drink with me, offer me a couch, or simply smile my way. It is this kindness that attaches itself to me and lends itself to replication among others - by myself.

An adventurous spirit and a creative bent see me either jumping off buildings, flying aeroplanes, kayaking thru fjords, learning to knit & crochet, trying to paint (in my mind), cooking, interior design obsessive, art glass and design jewellery lover (sterling silver makes me happy), patchwork quilter wannabe, garden innovator, try my hand at all things life inspired...always looking for new inspirations....In my other life I am a pilot, an IT tinkerer, an educator, a student, a barista, a charitable cause worker and JAZZ lover...and a Gypsy...Keep smiling..:D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been so fortunate in my life, to have both seen amazing things and been to amazing places, eaten glorious foods and done extraordinary things.

As a child growing up on Bougainville Island, it was a common occurrence for porpoises to come out at dusk and swim with us along the beaches, this is one of my fondest memories.

I have jumped out of Aeroplanes, Off Buildings and Bridges, Driven beautiful cars, bikes, Scuba dived, flown aeroplanes and helicopters, Skiied mountains, spear fished, kissed a snake, ....the list goes on

I'm an adrenalin junkie and I love my adventure sports. I never like to pass up an opportunity to try something new when I am faced with a challenge and enjoy sharing that with others. If I can impart some knowledge and learn along the way, then even better.
