About Me

I am a French student. I had a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and now I'm studying my Master Degree in "Ageing".
I am from the South of France: my parents live next to Avignon (which is about 1hour from Montpellier and 1hour from Marseille) and I'm studying in Montpellier.
I'm totally in love with travels and new countries, landscapes, people and costumes!

Unfortunately I can't host people because I am living in a little place ....one room and a bathroom! I let you imagine how huge it is :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love traveling all over the world and meet people who are able to show beautiful parts of their town, who know good addresses and restaurants where I can eat local food...... I can say a lots more but the most important thing is that I would like to have friends from the whole world and discover their own way of life ! I also can share my culture, my passion and my knowledge if you want to.

Warning! I do not consider Couchsurfing as a love meeting application ! Some people seem to forget it and so when I do a request to stay with you this is NOT a way to tell I am interesting in you, at all!
So if you read this and want just to meet a girl without sharing the principles of respect, friendship, discovering new towns and sharing his knowledge&culture just go on with other people. Thanks!

Interests

Travelling all around the world: I want to go to Australian, Japan, Texas and on the American West Coast.

I like reading, particularly fantasy or misery books.

Watching movies is just my favorite hobby the night before going to bed, with chocolate or popcorn of course.

I love music too and going to show and see my favorite singers.

I want to learn new languages. In college I don't have Spanish anymore, we can just learn English. It is a pity!!
When you don't practice the language you loose it and that's what happened for me :(
That's why from May 2016 to June 2016, I did an internship to validate my first year of Master's degree in Sevilla (Spain).
I was working into a lab of the UPO and I made researches on worms called Caenorhabditis elegans.

One of my dream is to go to Japan and I wanted to do my 6 month internship for my second year of my Master's Degree . Unfortunately I'm still in France, in Nice (South of France) Where I am working in a Cancer Institute (IRCAN) on Kidney Diseases with mice models.

Now, I would like to visit Italy because I'm just next to the border and I met an Italian girl into the lab who speaks me a lot about her country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of music, even Country music which I have discovered in Louisville ! My favorite singers are Maroon 5, Black Shelton, Pink, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Fray, The Week end, 21 pilots, Taylor Swift and Usher.

I love action movies as Terminator but I also like movies as Green Miles, Shawshank Redemption and The Great Gasby.
Leonardo di Caprio, Will Smith, Jude Law, Cameron Diaz are my favorite actors !!
I also watch a lot of tv show: vampire diaries, game of thrones, the originals, devious maid, American horror story, grey' anatomy, gossip girl, pretty little liars, prison break and desperate housewives.
I prefer American movies to French movies !
Moreover I like "horror movies" as 'World War Z' with Brad Pitt, and 'I am a legend' with Will Smith.

One of my favorite book is "The last song" by Nicholas Spark. I also read the Laurell K. Hamilton's books about Anita Blake's story: this is kind of fantasy books.
Contrary to the movies I prefer French writer: Marc Levy and Guillaume Musso are my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the USA. I learnt a lot, I saw beautiful cities (Louisville, Cincinnati, Washington DC, New York and Boston) , I did very funny visits and activities. But most of all I met very kind persons who helped me a lot and who enabled me to learn English faster.
Another one: visit of Andalusia in South of Spain!!! Just AMAZING. Landscapes, ways of life even if at the beginning it was so hard to eat at lunch time but then, during the evening, when you go out and all the people is in the streets, drinking beers and eating some tapas with such a friendly mood.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn different cultures, I want to meet people from differents countries and for this I traveled a lot !!

I was in Highschool in a English European Section, I had more English classes than the other students and with my class we made several trips: England twice, Irlande and Sweden !!

When I was in Louisville I was in a Host Family and they wanted to learn few words in French so I helped them for. It was funny and I really enjoyed that :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Maybe you want to learn French so I can help you.
I speak a lot if I see that the person in front of me wants to speak too. I can speak about what I am studying in college, about my trips, about my families and passion or anything else.

I want to speak about the plans of my stay in the city, about what I would like to see, where I would like to go and I want advices from people who live there and who know much better what I need to see in their city !!!
