Lou and Gerrit: We are a couple for 3 years now and at the moment traveling together for the next 8 months. I just finished my bachelor of psychology and Gerrit is a musician, worked in journalism and has a band. We are a very harmonic and open couple and you could easily spend time with us without feeling like „the third wheel“. We are both very reliable, open minded, socially competent, good at integrating us into places/groups, hearted and good at making people feel comfortable. :)

Lou: Loves to paint, build things, think creative, be and work in nature, socialise with other people. Other people see me always smiling and spreading good energy.

Gerrit: Helps where he can, plays a lot of instruments (Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums), is very good at organizing things and bringing structure into chaos and he loves to cook. Smiles and spreads good energy as well ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to meet new people especially locals. It is so nice to explore a city or country together with locals and not as a tourist.
You should use all the oportunities you have to travel and meet new people and couchsurfing is one of them.

When I was at Chiloe (an island in south Chile) I unexpectedly saw this shining plankton in the breaking waves of the ocean. It was so magic and beautiful!
