I'm a relaxed person and live life at a fairly slow pace. I'm quiet and sociable. I enjoy being outside, walking, yoga, reading, meeting new people and spending time with friends, being on the beach, swimming outdoors and eating good (vegetarian, gluten-free) food.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm an old school Couchsurf host and I love welcoming guests into my home in the hope that we'll become friends. I'm definitely not a free bed and breakfast: I stopped hosting for a few years because it seemed like the old Couchsurf ethos was changing and folk were just after free lodgings... but I've been privileged over the years to play host to some great people and had lots of lovely times with them, so here I am again, hoping for more of that!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've seen the Northern Lights in the Arctic Circle and taken a husky dog sled ride through pristine snow; I've sipped mint tea in Marrakech and trekked halfway up Toubkal (it would've been all the way but that's another story!). I'm now firmly settled in Scotland and have camped here, there and everywhere, meeting some amazing people along the way.
