Je suis Lou. I’m currently living in Montpellier, and I must say: I’ve already fallen in love with this city!

At this moment, I would say I’m happier than I’ve ever been! I’ve come to realize how life is full of complaining and feeling unhappy about futile things. Yet in reality, happiness is easy to reach. It depends on oneself; not other people or our surroundings.

Moreover, I've realized the power of acceptance (hint: it doesn't mean you must stay in bad situation if you don't like it). Just stop overthinking; carry on without hurting your mind!

The people I’ve met in my life have taught me many things, and altogether, had an amazing impact on my life. This is why I recommend that everyone go out and make new friends. Go ahead - talk to strangers!

In addition, it’s important to stay eager to about learning new things, always have an open mind, and never stay focused on the same idea of life, people, or experiences. In my opinion, going into “the unknown” is always a beneficial experience and this is why I do couchsurfing.
