About Me

ABOUT ME

To find out about who I really am, you'd have to ask my friends, but I like to learn, take situations for what they are and I really enjoy to hear people's stories, especially when they are really passionate about something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have a stable home, so I am unfortunately unable to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed on couches in Istanbul, Prague, Berlin, Innsbruck, Lyon, Graz and Warsaw so far.

Interests

I like challenges and be out of my comfort zone as much as I enjoy being with friends who I have known for my whole life and while I love to talk and be social, there is nothing better than being alone at home with a tea in one hand and a good book in the other. Sometimes I like to sing and make music, cut my hair or that of others, and sew my own clothes when I need them and can't find what I want on the flea markets I frequently rifle through.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm music? Pretty much everything they do in Iceland, some good old-school hip hop (B.I.G.) as well as melodic rap such as Atmosphere, love the 60s as much as the 80s (go and see the club 'Fledermaus' on Sundays in Viena, Austria). I also like classical music as I grew up with it.

Movies: Jean-Luc Godard, Xavier Dolan, Ulrich Seidl, Michael Haneke, Terrence Malick, Lars von Trier, Quentin Tarantino and so many more.

Books: If I'd have to point out a view (and this is hard) I would choose Kundera, Nestroy, Kafka, Max Frisch, Hemingway for fiction and Hannah Arendt, Judith Butler, Martha Nussbaum, Ratna Kapur, Shami Chakrabati for political/philosophical discourse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably moving to Paraguay

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share fun facts about various countries I have been to, I can cut your hair and show you how to dance really awkwardly.
