About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hey Guys, I am currently quite busy writing my bachelor thesis, so I won't be able to host anybody until End of May.
If you want a couch please write a bit more than "Hey can I stay with you?". That would be great :)
I'm a University student in Berlin, but let's stay studying isn't my priority in life ;)
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Berlin Kreuzberg. I am currently finishing my degree in Economics at University in Berlin. Unfortunately during my studies I realized that economics isn't really my thing to for the last two years I became active in fields, that actually mean something to me: I love writing and I am involved in a small magazine and doing a course on script writing for movies. I love cinema and my dream is to write, direct or produce a movie on day myself. Another issue, that is very important to me is the environment. I have been an environmental activist for many years now. Not the radical and crazy kind though. I like going to workshops and readings and sharing knowledge and opinions with others and be active myself. I really enjoy ecological gardening and farming. I stayed at a farm in the lebanese mountains for a while and learnt a lot about sustainable agriculture. Also in my daily life I like to eat organic products and question my consumption habits.
I really like animals! I have two cats (Mango and Kiwi) and a dog (Toni) that mean the world to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I travelled to New Zealand when I was 15, I have the travel bug. I started traveling independently soon and realized what great potential this network has. I started off with couchsurfing in New Zealand, later in Norway, Dubai, France, and also in other places in Germany. When I settled back into my regular life in Berlin I also started hosting people myself, to give back and to keep this network balanced out, but especially to meet people, show them my favorite places and bring some adventure and exotic experience in my everyday life. Since i only have a one bedroom apartment I can only host in times when I am flexible and relaxed, I hope you can understand that :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge cinema enthusiast. I like international independent movies. But I also read and listen to music, of course.
My favorite book of all times is: The Continuum-Concept, In Search of Lost Happiness by Jean Leadloff.
This book changed my life. It explained me, why I am the way I am, and why our society in general is the way it is, but moreover it taught me how to live a happy, loving life, which is the most important thing to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day I was in Switzerland and realized I had to be back home in Berlin one day earlier than planned. I had to get back to Berlin immediately for a work shift. So I checked trains, blablacar, buses. Nothing. In the end I managed to hitchhike over 1000 Kilometers all the way from Switzerland to Berlin in one day by myself. This was such a cool experience, because it was so spontaneous. I met so many genuine and caring people, that offered me help.
