Chi sono

Sorry all but I won’t be hosting anyone for the foreseeable future until the coronavirus has calmed down.

**Please read all my Profile and My Home section before sending a request as I receive a ton of copy and paste messages until I explain the accommodation situation and the surfer becomes uninterested**

Realised that sitting in the office with my shirt and tie, daydreaming out the window, just wasn't for me so I decided to pack it all in and live my life on the road and to be honest, it has been the best decision of my life. And that was in 2015. I love meeting new people and sharing stories with one another.

Always live by the rule "It's nice to be nice" And remember no matter what may happen in your life either positive or negative, that everything happens for a reason. The hardest part is waiting for the realisation on why it happened.

I am not particularly focused on social media or a big user of my phone so if you decide to send a request/hangout, you must be the same as there is nothing more disrespectful or rude to be with ones company while being on your phone.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

To meet fellow travelers and also to meet local people. Nothing more amazing than to experience a new culture in a new country while making a new friend.

Interessi

Massive music lover in particularly the underground scene. Enjoy all sorts of music but 90s/underground Hip Hop, indie and electronic/alt dance would my preference.

I have been recently learning how to play the ukulele so if you also play the ukulele, I would love a few pointers :)

I am a huge foody. From spicy to sweet to sour, we love it all. Not a bad cook myself I must say, you can be the judge if you allow me to stay in your home as I can cook you up something.

Obsessed with animals. From small to big to hairy to bald, you really can't beat an animals pure affection towards you. I had a family border collie back at home who was 15 years old but sadly she passed away while I was in Australia.

Love being outdoors especially anywhere that is green (even if the mosquitoes get at me!!). Walks, hikes, playing or even just lying on the grass is just pure bliss for me.

Most underrated feeling is to feel the soft green grass on your bare feet (Seriously, you should try it).

Starting to become big fan of the art of tattoos. I have three myself with another one in mind. I believe every tattoo has a story of its own and if you have any, would love to hear the story behind yours.

I love road trips and camping. One proud moment since my trip is that we left Melbourne and traveled up to 1770 in our own car while only bush camping and the sleeping at the occasional rest areas.

Musica, film e libri

Love the underground scene of any country in particular. That is why back at home in Ireland, I created an online music channel dedicated in showcasing the underground and unsigned Irish music scene. From recording to producing, it's all showcased on Street Ceol TV.

I enjoy books more about different philosophical views on life with authors such as Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist), Robin Sharma (The Monk who Sold His Ferrari) and The Power of Now (Eckhart Tolle) being my favourite authors. Other honorable mentions are The Five People You Meet In Heaven (Mitch Albom), Siddhartha (Hermann Hesse), The Incarnations (Susan Barker) and The Devil and Miss Prym (Paulo Coelho). Currently reading Shantaram (Gregory David Roberts)

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

I like to believe that I am a very easy going and clean person who just goes with the flow. Love to joke around and have a good time and always clean up after myself. I can even do some of your chores if needed :)

I also have numerous funny stories to tell since I have been travelling and would love to share them with a few beers.
