About Me

Hi there,
my name is Louis and I love to travel around the world. Luckily I always had the privilege to visit different countries with my parents or friends.
After my Abitur I was traveling around in New Zealand for half a year and it was one of the best ideas I had in my life. I meet so many nice locals and backpackers and I'm still amazed by the beauty of this country.
At the moment I study media computer science in Dresden but I still want to travel around, meet new people and see the world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While being on my own in an unknown country I really appreciated the help of local people or other travelers. Because of that, I would love to continue to meet other open-minded people and learn about their city and country and I think Couchsurfing is a perfect place for that.
Also to be honest being a student with a low-income job doesn't help my ache to travel... :D

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite genres are by far fantasy and science-fiction! But I love so many books and movies that I can't specify my favourite one. But I have to say the trilogy "Captive Prince" by C.S. Pacat is so good! But also the trilogy "The Passage" by Justin Cronin is just perfect!
At the moment I really enjoy listening to Techno and Metal, but in general, I'm hyped for every kind of music, except german hit songs! You can chase me with them :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best recent memory is working at a horse farm in New Zealand. It was so amazing! The owners were the nicest people, the work was fantastic and I found a really good friend who also worked there :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always excited to hear about different cultures! I also would love to learn to cook some typical things from the country I'm currently visiting because cooking and baking are one of my favourite hobbies.
(Also, when you have a problem with your computer, I can try to fix it for you!)
