About Me
Hello! I'm a junior at Minerva Schools, a new global university based in San Francisco which takes us to seven world cities over the course of four years and is trying to change higher education through a novel pedagogy where students learn how to think rather than what to think through interactive, small seminars and experiential learning. I was born in Berlin but grew up in New York, and I've traveled since I was just one year old. I love talking about history, politics, travel, philosophy, art, astronomy, and anything in between, but also being reflective and quiet in the right place and time. I can't decide whether I like sunrises or sunsets more, but I can decide that they look the best from planes and beaches.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've traveled both by staying at friends and family and at hotels, and I've enjoyed staying with locals and learning from them much more. I'm also a "poor college student", though I always embrace the opportunity to stay in an unknown place and be adventurous, so I'm open and flexible.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I keep a positive attitude and flexible mindset most of the time so I'll be okay with pretty much any basic place to stay. I can keep clean and to myself, or also have lengthy conversations. I can offer many tips on the best places to visit in New York City and San Francisco.
I attended a high school with students from all different ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds, my parents are from different cultures and my college is comprised of 75% non-US students, so I've been exposed to many different perspectives and world-views which I could share.
