I just finished school at Polytechnique de Montreal and I am currently on a 2 months trip around Europe looking to expand my horizons before coming back to my country and work full-time.

For my trip, I want to do Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna and Budapest. I plan on visiting museums and small charming places that only locals would know about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just finished school so I'm not particularly wealthy, also I am travelling with my girlfriend and she still is in school, so not much money either. Obviously, this is a good opportunity to keep money for other things to visit in our trip and this is also where couchsurfing comes into play. Since hosts are locals, they know the in and outs of the city they live in and they can show you around or tell you where you should go and where you should not and this is something that interests me a lot. I want to get to know each city I visit and I don't have infinite time to do so!

Interests

I am a software engineer so naturally, I like to code. I also like to play video games, a lot (DotA 2). I LOVE biking, walking and being outside in the sun, having fun in the park or picnicking with some good wine.

An ideal day for me would be to wake up not too late, have a shower and some breakfast and then prepare my day. Checking to see where I would like to go and then going there by walk, normally. Walking around the neighbourhood is the best way for me to visit a city, to see every street and every little small corner, see every shop and every little detail. Coming back to eat a wonderful supper and then probably having a drink or two and going out!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic music and hip-hop. I also like to go to festivals and music shows. I love cinema in general and I'm not difficult at all. I read the Game of Thrones series, the Foundation series, Les Rois Maudits, and some other books that I don't remember!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a relaxed person so I won't be stressful. I love to take time in doing things, not rushing anything, but keeping myself occupied at the same time. Kind of going with the flow.

I can offer to host some basic knowledge of French (since it's my mother tongue), with the best accent you'll ever hear, the Quebec accent (French Canadian). I can also show you some games that maybe you never played, wether they be drinking games or casual games.

I can show you how to code, if you're into that obviously!
