About Me
Hello!
I travel every now and then, but my wife and I are currently living in Anchorage Alaska!
I'm pretty low key, but I like to go on bike rides, pub crawls, etc, and I like talking about everything from Star Trek to construction.
I used to be an electrician, but I am currently studying geology at the University of Alaska
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having a low cost place to stay is always great no doubt, but meeting new people, especially people that are local to the areas, really makes the travel experience a lot more interesting. I did a work exchange for three weeks in the Pyrenees in this small village, and it was really interesting to have that more intimate travel experience. It was very refreshing to not be tourist for a bit.
I used Couchsurfing a bit when I went to Ireland and France in 2018, but I lost access to that account, and I didn't want to pay another $60 to get verified again. Feel free to check my ID if you meet me in person! I totally understand people being wary of strangers.
