Overview
About Me
I just graduated from a university in Indiana and have several months before I go back to school to hopefully become a doc! They say you never have all 3 things of these at the same time: Youth, Time, and Money. Well, I have the first two and have just enough of the third to have some fun before I go to school and have no life.
Until then I'm based out of my parent's house in SC, which unfortunately is not available for hosting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard of Couchsurfing from friends who have traveled overseas and it seems like a great networking site to connect with people during my travels who will introduce me to new experiences and perhaps hang out with me a bit. I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their perspectives on world issues and life in general.
About to embark on a 2 month Europe journey and would love to meet some locals to learn more about their life and home!
Interests
Anything active, especially outdoor activities. I love skiing, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and fishing and am always ready for other adventures.
Food, I will try anything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like pretty much all music but have been really into country recently - it just never fails to put me in a good mood. I grew up on classic rock, and am a great head thrasher to metal (if I could go back in time I'd go to a Metallica concert in their prime). I can also quote a lot of Taylor Swift songs.
Favorite chick flick: The Notebook
I used to be an avid reader and am trying to get back into it. Mostly nonfiction and classic literature right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I somehow got a room of 12 guys to watch The Notebook with me all the way through. There were tears.
Just finished a 6 week, 8000 mile road trip across the U.S. visiting 14 national parks and many other fascinating places. Countless miles of hiking and biking through amazing landscapes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak English. I know some good crockpot recipes. I'm trying to learn how to play the piano and knit socks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A thoughtful discussion on probably any topic, except glass blowing. I don't know anything about glass blowing.
Also, since people traveling through new places are always in a good mood, I can bring some cheer to you!
