Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world and its people and this seemed like a great place to do so! I live in the Netherlands which is a very flat country so I hope to walk in big forests and see mountains or other cultures, big cities, historic places, your favourite cafe in that one hidden street or taste new food. So the main reason for me to be here is to gain new experiences and live my life to the fullest!

Music, Movies, and Books

Allright this could get long;

Music:
Rock, metal and a weak spot for folk or stoner metal in particular. But I can appreciate things like industrial and eurodance as well. I have lots of guilty pleasures, also share yours with me! I'm not sure if I should put an endless list of bands here but some of my favorites are: Avatar, Rammstein, Korpiklaani, Dethklok, Ghost, Heidevolk, Volbeat, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy's, Triggerfinger, Graveyard, Snarky Puppy, Russkaja aaand there I go spamming bands again, I could go on forever.

Books:
Huge fan of the Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks and currently working my way trough all the Realm of the Elderlings series by Robin Hobb. I'm at the start of "The Mad Ship" right now (2nd trilogy, 2nd book). Generally I read only fantasy, sometimes a little horror is nice too though. Also a big fan of the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by Micheal Scott. Others are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and probably a lot that I'm forgetting.

Shows:
I like thinks like How it's made or nature documentaries (especially the ones by David Attenborough. I don't really watch TV though.

Anime:
Stuff like Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, Log Horizon, Death Note, D.Gray-man, One Piece, and currently Ergo Proxy.

Food:
Bread, Greek and tapas m not a picky eater, I like too many things for that. Except sour things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of my favourite things was hiking in France around a place called "Die". It was an interesting little town and the mountains around it had some great views, just ignore that the name doesn't sound that friendly in English haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have that many travel experiences yet but I hope to gain more soon enough, those that I have I will happily share of course. I can cook a bit and some people tell me I'm good at massages.
