ABOUT ME

I am a tin and blond French man, living in Paris 18 with my wife. Really young-minded, funny and kindly, I like to meet interesting people, while being a little shy. I prepare a thesis in history of art, and teach sometimes at the University. I am often confined in librairies, but prefer walking in sculpture gardens, taking photographies and discovering new place of art. I am also fond of music, rock, French songwriters, jazz, pop, new wvae... I like good food, good beers and sharing that with people.
PS : Contrary to the picture, I've stopped smoking (but I am not disturbed by smoke, only my wife do in case of host)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment, I can't promise to be a host (maybe one day I will). I often have to travel to prepare my thesis, in Northern Europe (Benelux, Scandinavia, UK and sometimes Germany), and have to find places to rest. That's the occasion to meet new people, from different horizons, in these countries - and others - to discover new cultures, new meals, new places, new bars/it's more funny not to trip alone ! In my projects, I want to improve my English, but also to learn new languages, particularly Dutch, German and Swedish. Don't hesitate to make me hearing music/seing films in your languages ! But, if you expect, I also could be a really discrete people.
I won't just recieve and not give. So I can have a moment with you in Paris, sometimes with my wife, to present you original places, so Parisian ! I also can help you by mail, because I really well know good places to have fun, cheap, both in Paris and Lille. It is also possible to meet you in Paris if you want to improve your French with practise, or to learn more about Franch culture and history, that I well know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Yes : surfed one time in the Netherlands, great experience.
