ABOUT ME
Hi,
I'm a 30 year old guy living in New Orleans, right in the heart of the city in the French Quarter. Just recently I have decided to start hosting again as Mardi Gras and Festival Season is just too crazy! UPDATE - It's Mardi Gras again (how did that come around so fast?!) so sadly I won't be hosting for a month or so. Feel free to message me for advice or a coffee!
Previously I was in Aberdeen, Scotland (where I really got into the CS community) before work moved me to the US of A in July 2012. I studied Geology in Cambridge and Leeds and I am from the UK (West country). I'm kinda addicted to travel and recently have set foot in Dubai, Brazil, Portugal, Denmark, Germany and Holland to name but a few. Since moving to America I have stepped up my mission of visiting all 50 states. Currently I have 30.
The love of travel all stemmed from my father's job, working for BA as he still does. I was always being dragged out of school to visit exotic places or urban jungles much to the annoyance and envy of teachers and friends. My job takes me travelling also, which is fun and keeps me occupied and loving it!
Other than travelling I play tennis and golf - any keen sportspeople are more than welcome to join me for a round. Even crazy golf works!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted and couchsurfed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted in Aberdeen and couchsurfed in Europe. Good times! After a long period off the site (due to my move to New Orleans) I rekindled my couchsurfing passion after accidentally meeting 3 German couchsurfers in a Jazz bar on Bourbon St. What a night!

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to mention.
Recently indie, rock, pop, horror films and box sets. Damn those boxsets.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Mt. Kinabalu (OK, so it's like the EASIEST mountain to climb ever) but thought I was going to die.
