About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to explore New Zealand to the fullest whilst listening to massive amounts of awesome kiwi dub reggae. I want to see everything NZ has to offer and meet laid back, cool and fun people on the way.

ABOUT ME

I love music. I used to have my own student radio show back in the UK and I have had the honour of doing a few shows on the radio in Auckland too. Music is everything to me and its the reason I am travelling. I am 22 and life to me is searching for the next awesome beat. I am a very laid back guy and I love meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still working on that one but I'm very open minded and maybe one day I will combine all the philosophies of everyone I meet to make my own. I guess if I had to come up with reasons why I live my life they would have to include family, friends, music and new experiences everyday.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to all this but I'm sure I will participate greatly when I get into the flow of things and start surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love any band with a horn section. Big band jazz and funk is amazing. I'm all about the dub. Anything with a mean beat. For the quiet times acoustic singer/songwriter stuff done well is perfect. I love movies. I love anything with Will Ferrel in it. Again I have a very open mind with films but I refuse to watch anything with Sarah Jessica Parker in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working with children in the UK was probably the best thing I have ever done. I worked in an adventure playground and the whole concept involved showing kids of all ages how to have fun without rollercoasters, but with treehouses and zip wires instead.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is so much I still want to learn. I'm in the awkward stage of life where I have no idea what I'm going to with my life. Maybe someone out there in the community can inspire me in someway and help me find a direction.
