I am a 24 year old student from Hildesheim in Germany, where I study English and sports for education. I already took part in a one year exchange student program in the United States in 2010, and now I am just about to finish my semester abroad in Ireland. I enjoyed the experience I made and that is the reason why I also want to discover Scotland and England before I go back to Germany. I am very interested in meeting new people, places and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I chose Couchsurfing because I think that it is a great possibility to meet new people and it is especially a great chance to meet natives and get some nice tips and hints for interesting and nice places I should see.

Interests

I like to travel, to discover new countries and cultures, to go out, to meet and make new friends, and also to do sports. I like running and cycling and I like going to the gym. In summer I love to surf and kite surf, play beach volleyball and enjoy the sun with my friends or ride my motorcycle. In winter I love snowboarding, usually I snowboard in Austria and I have also been to France and can't wait to see new nice mountains. But sometimes there is nothing better than having a relaxed evening on my couch ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many different kinds of music. I like pop, rock, electronic music, house music and more. There is no specific kind of movie genre which I prefer, but if you don't want to share your blanket with me please don't show me any horror movies! :p
