About Me

Hi, I'm a student studying in Glasgow, Scotland. With my parents I travelled all over the world and now that I've left home, I don't want to stop! I study Finance and Economics, joined the British Army three years ago, and just am wanting to start a business in making Gin. I love all outdoor activity, sports and being active. Just recently I've starting working for a brewery that support Scottish veterans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are so many places I would love to see, but being a student I can't afford it. Hotels are so unreasonably expensive - I am willing to work for accommodation and bring gifts, but not pay £100 a night. I find those who are willing to share their living space are the most welcoming and inviting of people, and I love finding friends around the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite singers - Kate Bush, Enya, Beyonce.
My guilty pleasure - Lady Gaga.
Books - I read a lot, but Lord of the rings has to be a favourite! Murder mysteries I love too.
I'm a sucker for romances, but Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean and James Bond are my favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many wonderful experiences I've had, but one of the best has to be on my 17th Birthday when I dived with my family in the Musendam off the coast of Oman. As we were swimming along mesmerised by the colourful corals and fish, a huge Whaleshark swam up beside me, then turned in front of me (so close I managed to stroke it) and then swam back behind me off into the distance. It was surreal - nature is wonderful!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I used to help my mother teach english as a foreign language, so can always help those who are wanting some help. With people opening up their homes to strangers, I find it very important to be as easy a guest as possible. I love to bringing gifts from my home country, and help out in the house whenever I can.
